Ordinary polarization beamsplitter prism (PBS) has a relatively poor extinction ratio for the reflection channel, and is not suitable for applications with extinction ratio for the reflection channel, such as interferometers. Dimension-Labs has optimized the design of the polarization beamsplitter prism to meet the requirements of high extinction ratio and high wavefront distortion for both the reflected and transmitted light paths, and is mainly used in polarization interferometers.
