概述
Peculiarity:
- Base material: K9
- Ø25.4 and 50×50 sizes are available
- Optical Density (OD) Range: 0.1-4
- Low power applications
Neutral density filters absorb or reflect untransmitted light, thereby uniformly reducing the transmittance of a certain part of the spectrum, which can be used to avoid damage to camera sensors or other optical components caused by strong light, and is usually used in imaging or laser applications. Reflective neutral density filters consist of a K9 glass substrate and a metal reflective film. When the metal reflective film is not coated with a protective layer, it needs to be cleaned by blowing air and not touched, otherwise it may scratch the surface of the film layer. Although these are reflective neutral density filters, metal reflective films absorb some of the incident light, so these filters are used in low-power applications.
