       K9 Double Convex Lenses have a positive focal length and are commonly used in imaging relay systems and for imaging objects at limited conjugate distances, and are most suitable for focusing divergent beams when the object is on either side of the lens and the conjugate ratio (i.e., the ratio of image distance to object distance) is between 0.2 and 5.

K9 biconvex lenses are based on RoHS-compliant K9 glass, which has excellent broad spectral transmission characteristics (high transmittance at wavelengths from 350nm to 2000nm), and high hardness, so it can withstand a variety of physical or chemical stimuli, so it is often used as a substrate for a variety of optical components.
