UV Fused Silica Double Concave Lenses have a negative focal length that diverges a parallel beam into the virtual focus, making them an excellent choice for diverging convergent beams and are also suitable for relay imaging systems.
UV bi-concave lenses are based on UV fused silica, which is ideal for applications in the UV to near-infrared bands due to its high transmittance in the deep UV region and its very low fluorescence level compared to natural quartz with little to no laser-induced fluorescence. In addition, compared with K9 glass, it has a wider spectral range (185-2100nm), better homogeneity, and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion.
