概述
- Material: K9 glass
- Operating wavelength: 350 nm-2.0 μm
- Usage: Control beam deflection, beam scan output
A wedge prism is an optical device with an inclined bevel that deflects the incident beam to the thicker side at a certain deflection angle. The larger the wedge angle, the greater the beam deflection angle after the beam enters the prism. The wedge angle of the wedge prism and the reflection film on the back can reduce the ghost interference reflected on the back surface. High-precision substrates ensure the accuracy of reflected and transmitted light wavefronts.
Wedge prisms are primarily used to control beam deflection and scanning. Rotating the wedge prism along the optical axis enables beam circular scan output. The combination of two rotating wedge prisms to control the rotation speed relative to each other can achieve a beam scan output of any shape, with a range of a corner cone with the incident beam as the axis.
K9 wedge prism is based on RoHS-compliant K9 glass, which has excellent broad spectral transmission characteristics (high transmittance at wavelengths from 350nm to 2000nm) and high hardness, so it can withstand a variety of physical or chemical stimuli, so it is often used as a substrate for a variety of optical components.
Dimension-labs offers a wide range of K9 wedge prisms (specific dimensions and parameters can be filtered from the details below) to meet the needs of a wide range of applications.
