Roof Prisms are a type of reflective prism, also known as Amish roof prism, which is mainly used to reflect light in optical imaging systems. The roof prism can invert the image and deflect it by 90. When passing through a prism, the image is reflected from right to left and top to bottom, making it suitable for use with telescopes and any optical instrument that needs to flip the image from the objective, turn left/right, bend at 90°, to maintain the correct visual orientation. The roof prism is not limited by the critical angle of total reflection and can accept incident light at a large angle.

K9 roof prism is based on RoHS-compliant K9 glass, which has excellent broad spectral transmission characteristics (high transmittance in 350nm-2000nm wavelengths) and high hardness, so it can withstand a variety of physical or chemical stimuli, so it is often used as a substrate for a variety of optical components.

Dimension-labs offers a wide range of K9 roof prisms (specific sizes and parameters can be filtered from the details below) to meet the variety of applications you need.
