Dimension-Labs fixed-focus large beam collimators are pre-aligned for collimating the laser coming from the fiber, providing diffraction-limit performance at the design wavelength. Due to chromatic aberration, the effective focal length of a duplex lens is wavelength-dependent, so these collimators perform best at the design wavelength. The duplex lenses have a reflection enhancement film that minimizes surface reflections and is factory aligned for each design wavelength. Dimension-Labs fixed focus large beam collimators are designed with multiple wavelengths within 405-1654nm, and are available in three types of fiber optic connectors: FC/PC, FC/APC, and SMA.
