Dimension Labs' cage coaxial system uses four sturdy steel support rods, allowing optical components to be aligned along a common optical axis. The support rods used for the components on this page are located at the four corners of a 16mm square. Dimension Labs also offers components with support spacing of 30mm and 60mm, as well as adapters between these three different support spacing options.
16mm cage system standard cage plate

There is also an M3 screw hole at the bottom of the cage plate for installing connecting rods. DL-BZLB-16-05 has a Ø 0.5in limit hole at the center, which can accommodate Ø 0.5in optical components with a thickness greater than 3.0mm. The limited installation area provides stable dual line contact for installing optical components. It also has a nylon top thread on top, which is tightened with a 1.5 mm ball screwdriver or hex wrench to secure the optical components. The bottom of the cage plate has M3 threaded holes for installing connecting rods.
