概述

       The optical wedge depolarizer is composed of two crystal quartz optical wedges, which are different from ordinary optical wedge depolarizers in that they use quartz crystals instead of fused silica for optical path polarization compensation, and they have a wide spectral application range while controlling the beam deviation angle within an acceptable range.

When linearly polarized light is incident on the optical wedge surface on the optical wedge depolarizer, its polarization state will change spatially, resulting in random polarization. The optical wedge depolarizer has a good depolarization effect on both monochromatic and wideband light sources. The best depolarization effect can be obtained when the incident polarized light and the optical axis of the optical wedge depolarizer are placed at 45 degrees, and the larger the incident spot, the more ideal the depolarization effect.
