Dimension-Labs offers linear polarizers made of glass substrates cemented with dichroic materials with high extinction ratios and wide angles of incidence, allowing natural light to pass through with one of the orthogonal polarization components strongly absorbed by the linear polarizer and the other component less absorbed. It is used to convert natural light into linearly polarized light with high extinction ratio.
