Dimension-Labs closely monitors the development trends of scientific research and industry and launches a new infrared imaging device - short-wave infrared camera. Compatible with visible and short-wave infrared spectroscopy
Short wave infrared imaging (400nm-1700nm) and MWIR imaging mode is different. MWIR imaging mode is dominated by thermal radiation imaging, while SWIR imaging is dominated by reflection imaging. This feature is the same as visible imaging, making SWIR images comparable to visible images in resolution and detail. SWIR imaging (Figure B) below shows unique information that cannot be captured by visible imaging (Figure A), while at the same time providing far greater clarity than long-wave infrared imaging (Figure C).
High sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low noise
The short wave infrared camera is equipped with SONY image sensor, which has the characteristics of high sensitivity and low noise. The pixel size is 5µm, which can realize a smaller imaging system and shoot high quality images. It also has a wide dynamic range, which can capture clear images in extremely low light environment and present scenes with strong contrast between light and dark in the same picture, ensuring rich picture details.
Extremely high quantum efficiency
The camera's image sensor has a high quantum efficiency in the 400-1700nm band range, with a specific band efficiency of more than 95%.
