The 30mm cage plate series products can directly install optical components into our 30mm cage system. Dimension labs offers a variety of different types of cage plates. Standard cage plates are used to secure optical components of different sizes and thicknesses. The cage plate with SM thread can be used for installing both optical components and lens sleeves. For applications that require quick replacement of optical components, we also offer quick release cage plates and segmented cage plates. If a certain cage component in the system needs to rotate around the optical axis, we can use our cage rotating cage plate. We also offer special cage plates with flexible clamping mechanisms to meet different application requirements.

30mm cage system standard cage plate
characteristic:: • Install optical components directly in a 30 mm cage system; • Install the connecting rod through the M4 threaded hole; The standard cage plate of Dimension Labs can install Ø 1/Ø 0.5 inch reflectors or other optical components in a 30 mm cage system. There is also a fixing screw on the side of each cage rod through-hole, which can be tightened with a 1.5 mm ball head screwdriver or hex wrench. There is also an M4 screw hole at the bottom of the cage plate for installing connecting rods. The thickness of the DL-BZLB-30-SM1-8/DL-BZLB-30-SM05 cage plate is 8 mm, with SM1 (1.035 "-40)/SM05 (0.535" -40) threaded holes in the center. The SM1/SM05 threaded holes in the center can directly install Ø 1/Ø 0.5 inch optical components with a maximum thickness of 0.2 inches (5 mm), or Ø 1/Ø 0.5 inch lens sleeves. The DL-BZLB-30-SM1-12 cage plate has a thickness of 12 mm, and the SM1 (1.035 "-40") threaded hole in the center directly installs optical components with a maximum thickness of 0.35 inches (8.9 mm). It has a thickened design, with two locking screws on the side of each cage rod through-hole, which can be directly inserted into two extended cage rods and firmly locked, providing a rigid connection for the two cage subsystems. DL-BZLB-30-05/DL-BZLB-30-1 cage plate is used to install Ø 0.5/Ø 1-inch mirrors or other optical components in a 30 mm cage system. The limited installation area provides stable dual line contact for installing optical components. It also has a nylon top thread on top, which is tightened with a 2.0mm ball screwdriver or hex wrench to secure the optical components. The thickness of the optical components should be at least 0.15 inches (3.8 mm) for proper installation in the cage plate.

Flexible locking cage plate

30mm Removable Segment Cage Plates
characteristic: • Build a 30mm cage system that can be disassembled as a whole; • Flexible cam lock design for easy disassembly of the entire section; • Install the connecting rod through the M4 threaded hole; Dimension labs' 30mm Removable Segment Cage Plates are used to remove a portion of the cage system and replace it with other pre aligned cage segments. Unlike the standard cage plate that runs through the cage rod, this cage plate is easy to remove a part from the cage system without affecting other components in the cage system. These cage plates all use flexible cam locks to remove them in a direction perpendicular to the cage axis, and to secure the cage rod before locking the detachable cage plate. The cage plate can also be installed with connecting rods through M4 threaded holes. DL-DSLB-30 can install Ø 1-inch mirrors or other optical components into our 30 mm cage system. The installation area of the limit hole provides stable two-wire contact for optical components. The top of the cage plate has nylon top wire, which can be used to fix the optical components with a 2mm ball head screwdriver or hex wrench. The minimum thickness of optical components is 0.15inches (3.8mm) to be suitable for installation in these cage plates. Cage type rotating cage plate

The cage type rotating cage plate consists of two cage plates: one is connected to the fixed cage structure, and the other allows all cage components connected to it to rotate. To rotate the cage components between two fixed cage structures, two cage rotating cage plates must be used, which is very suitable for multiple optical components that require the same rotation angle. Each side of the cage plate has four blind holes for installing cage rods, so the cage rods must be interrupted at this cage plate. Each cage rod is fixed by M3 fixing screws located on the side (screws can be fixed with a 1.5 mm ball head screwdriver or hex wrench). The cage board is engraved with a scale of 2 degrees, allowing users to perform accurate manual positioning. After adjusting the rotation, a 2 mm hex wrench can be used to lock the flexible locking mechanism to fix the rotation position. The DL-XZLB-30 has a 1-inch deep center SM1 threaded (1.035 "-40) hole that runs through the entire cage plate and keeps the components fixed when the cage plate rotates. SM1-Threaded Dual Flexure Cage Plate

This design compensates for the common tolerance superposition effect in cage systems, ensuring that the cage plate does not exert too tight constraints or forces on the cage rod within the cage section. During operation, the right angled flexible arm of the cage plate can maintain rigidity, and when installed in the cage section, it can also bend slightly to compensate for the offset of the cage rod. A separate flexible fixture clamps each cage arm onto the cage rod, enhancing the clamping force and rigidity of the cage plate. The DL-LXLB-30T center has a Ø 1-inch limit hole that can accommodate Ø 1-inch optical components with a thickness of at least 0.125 inches (3.2 mm). Nylon head fixing screws can be used to secure optical components. A 2.0 mm hex wrench can be used to tighten the cap screws on each flexible cage rod through-hole. The cage plate can also be installed with connecting rods through M4 threaded holes.
