       UV Fused Silica Plano Convex Lenses have a positive focal length and are suitable for applications such as imaging or beam collimation. To minimize spherical aberration, when used for collimating beam focusing, the beam should be incident on the lens surface; When used for point light collimation, it should be incident on the plane.

UV plano-convex lenses are based on UV fused silica, which is ideal for applications in the UV to near-infrared band because UV fused silica provides high transmittance in the deep ultraviolet region and has a very low fluorescence level compared to natural quartz and produces almost no laser-induced fluorescence. In addition, compared with K9 glass, it has a wider spectral range (185-2100nm), better homogeneity, and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion.
