       Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) Plano Convex Lenses have a positive focal length and are suitable for applications such as imaging or beam collimation. To minimize spherical aberration, when used for collimating beam focusing, the beam should be incident on the lens surface; When used for point light collimation, it should be incident on the plane.

Zinc selenide planoconvex lenses are based on zinc selenide, which has the characteristics of low absorption and thermal shock resistance, has a wide transmission band (600nm-16μm), and has low absorption in the red light part of the visible spectrum, so it is often used in optical systems that combine CO2 lasers (operating at 10.6μm) with inexpensive helium-neon lasers.
