The K9 Plano Convex Lenses have a positive focal length and are suitable for applications such as imaging or beam collimation. To minimize spherical aberration, when used for collimating beam focusing, the beam should be incident on the lens surface; When used for point light collimation, it should be incident on the plane.
K9 plano-convex lenses are based on RoHs-compliant K9 glass, which has excellent broad-spectral transmission characteristics (high transmittance at 350nm-2000nm wavelengths) and high hardness, so it can withstand a variety of physical or chemical stimuli, so it is often used as a substrate for a variety of optical components.
